Edgedancer

Book 2.5 in the Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson. This book was a quick read coming in at only 272 pages and it gives us more of the back story of one of my favorite characters in The Stormlight Archive—Lift.

I rated this book 4 stars.

A Court of Mist and Fury

Book two in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas. I’m re-reading this series in preparation to read the newest book, A Court of Silver Flames, that was released in February. This book is the reason this series is so good! By far, this book is the strongest in the series and left me wanting more!

I rated this book 5 stars.

Oathbringer

Book three in the Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson. This was the most challenging book in the series for me. It dragged in a few places and didn’t feel as character rich as the other two.

I rated this book 5 stars.

A Court of Wings and Ruin

Book three in the series took me the longest to get through. In my opinion, this book isn’t as good as book two, but this book hits more in the feels.

I rated this book 5 stars.

A Court of Frost and Starlight

This is book 3.5 in Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Thorns and Roses series and quite honestly, I don’t really know the point of this book. I don’t mean that to sound harsh as I enjoyed being back with these characters, but I didn’t feel like this book did anything to enhance the plot of this series.

When I first read this book, I gave it a 4 stars. This re-read, I dropped it down to 3 stars.

Rhythm of War

Book four in the Stormlight Archive and wow, I enjoyed this book just as much as book two! I loved being back inside these characters’ heads and I cannot wait to get my hands on book five in 2023!

I rated this book 5 stars.

City of Ghosts.jpg

City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab

I got the recommendation for this book from Meredith on the Currently Reading Podcast and after taking two months to re-listen to ACOTAR, I was thrilled to try something new. This book was delightful with lovable, slightly creepy characters and an extremely atmospheric setting, which also happens to be one of my favorite cities in the world—Edinburgh, Scotland. I loved this book and will most definitely be continuing the series at a later date.

I rated this book 4 stars.

The Line That Held Us

This book was recommended by Laura Tremaine on the 10 Things to Tell You Podcast a while back and it’s been on my TBR for awhile. I finally decided to give it a shot and I’m still thinking about it, almost every single day. I’m debating on whether to write a more in depth review on this book myself, but this book is everything I love about a novel—slow burn, character driven, a study in human emotions and looking closely at what it means to be human.

I rated this book 4 stars.
