This cause is near and dear to my heart as I am a victim of sexual assault and have spent the last 5 years of my life fighting my way back to the surface for fresh air.

The statistics are are not uncommon and I’m sure you’ve heard them before, but I urge you to really take a second to stop and think about these numbers. Each of us knows someone, maybe you know it more intimately than you’d like to and I’m here to tell you I’m sorry and it wasn’t your fault.

More than 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced sexual violence involving physical contact during their lifetimes. Nearly 1 in 5 women and 1 in 38 men have experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime.

Introducing the Vulva Magic Collection

The pieces in this collection demonstrate the kinship of the divine feminine with the cosmos, dancing in unison as the the two become one. Depicting the creation of all things through the cyclical nature of birth, rebirth and death. The flow of life like water, the biorhythm of the whole. The quiet moments of reflection, the seconds between breaths contrasted by the vastness of the expanse. The peace that comes by accepting what is.

By awakening and stepping into our power, we reclaim what has been lost.

I wanted these pieces to live here on my website forever because I truly love them. Art therapy has been a huge part of my own healing and each of these pieces allowed me to recover pieces of my self.

If you or someone you know has been affected by sexual violence please reach out for help.

Some of these pieces are still up for grabs, feel free to check out my shop!

With love,

Emily
